Dean Barker - Magnus Holmberg will fight in the final for Trofeo Trombini 2001 James Spithill - Peter Holmberg for the third place.

Dean Barker (team New Zealand) and Magnus Holmberg (Victory Challenge, Sweden) are the finalists of Trombini Trophy grade 1 ISAF match race event 2001. It was anothe big day with perfect conditions and 10-15 knots of wind.

Barker beat 3-0 in the semifinal Peter Holmberg, more battle between Spithill and Magnus Holmberg, with five races. After a 2-2 the final race was spectacular and emotioning: with the umpires that distribuited 4 penalties (3 of wich to Spithill, at last retired).

In the morning, was surprising also the victory 3-2 of Magnus Holmberg on Russull Coutts, due the ex-kiwi leaded 0-2 after the yesterday races.
In the losers series: after two flights Nicola Celon lead 2-0 on Morten Henriksen, and Coutts 2-0 on Cian.

Tomorrow the finals:

and the others for 5° and 7° place
